Decrease adhesions

Increase tissue circulation

Decrease stagnation

Medical cupping is the use of glass or polycarbonate cups to relax short and tight muscles, loosen adhesions and soften connective tissue in order to enhance blood flow to tissues, reduce inflammation in these tissues and enhance lymphatic flow. This is done by creating suction and vacuum pressure to lift the tissues and increase circulation. Stagnation is cleared out allowing for fresh blood to come into the tissue and begin healing the areas of contact more fully.

Cupping is great for use in scar tissue work, light lymphatic drainage, and to increase mobility in larger areas like the shoulders, back, gluteal muscles, and thighs. Dynamic cupping may also be used to help reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Sessions range from 30 - 6o minutes depending on your goals.

Burn Scars

Our understanding and compassion working with people who are burn survivors comes from personal experience as we've had family members, including ourselves, who've been burned and know the healing process and great ordeal it takes to recover from a singular or multiple burn site injury.

Our therapists are Certified in Burn Scar Massage Therapy, and understand the delicate nature of burn scars and healing skin grafts after a burn injury, and are knowledgeable in their treatment to help reduce the possibility of contracture developing in the joints involved around the burn. We make every effort possible to work with your health care provider to give you the best care and outcome possible.

Sessions range from 30 to 60 minutes depending on the severity of your burn, the stage of your healed and healing skin graft(s) and the complexities involved in the healing process. Get the loving touch that you deserve.

Post-Operative Recovery Scars

We understand the sensitive nature of working with scar tissue after surgical intervention such as breast reconstruction following mastectomy, or keloiding after total hip replacement. We work with your healthcare provider and surgeon to provide the best outcome possible in the appearance of scars and reduction of scar tissue where incisions were made, and even address scar tissue that may adhese to structures, like the organs, below the skin. We can help you with complex scars and scars that are hard to reach as well as teach you how to massage your scars at home so that they become more pliable, less noticeable and reduce that tugging feeling in the area of your incision(s). Sessions range from 30 to 60 minutes depending on the nature of your scar.

Restrictions within these membranes are released allowing the central nervous system to function more efficiently.

SomatoEmotional Release (SER) is a therapeutic process that uses and expands on the principles of CranioSacral Therapy to help rid the mind and body of the residual effects of trauma. SER offers applications designed to enhance results using CST and other complementary therapies.

Both CST and SER are being increasingly use as a preventive health measure and are performed with client fully clothed. Sessions usually last 60 to 90 minutes.

They are terrific for those suffering from migraines, headaches, chronic fatigue, ADD/ADHD, brain and spinal cord injuries, PTSD, post-surgical dysfunction, and touch sensitivities.

SLEEP WELL PROGRAM

Reduces stress

Better sleep quality

Great for relaxation

We know what it's like to be sleep deprived. Late nights, early mornings and interrupted sleep patterns leave you slogging through your day, wishing you could get just one hour's worth of deep sleep. Combined with pain that keeps you up at night or interferes with deeper sleep quality can leave you feeling not only irritable but less productive, more easily stressed and reaching for a sugary pick-me-up mid-afternoon to recharge your batteries but leaving you with stubborn belly fat. Lack of quality sleep raises your blood pressure, increases inflammation, and leaves you with slower reaction times, and lower patience levels. Let's change the cycle and give you back the sleep you deserve.

Using proven techniques to help you sleep better and more soundly, these 90 minute treatments combine specific techniques to lower your cortisol levels, increase Alpha, Delta and Theta brain wave activity, and...help you sleep better over time.
